About us
The Village of Indiantown was incorporated on December 31, 2017 and was the first municipality incorporated in over 40 years in Martin County, Florida. The first election was held on March 13, 2018, with the well attended inaugural meeting held at Indiantown Middle School on March 21, 2018. Indiantown has a bright future and we hope you will be part of it. Village Office hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. excluding holidays. MEDIA ALERT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 13, 2023 Contact: Suzanne Seldes, Associate Vice President of Communications, PIO (772) 462-7265, sseldes@irsc.edu Community Invited to July 30 Indiantown High School Community Celebration and School Preview Party Take a sneak peek inside the new school, meet faculty and staff, and enjoy food and fun INDIANTOWN, FL—On July 30, families throughout Martin County and neighboring communities can take a sneak peek inside Indiantown High School (IHS), Martin County’s newest charter high school, located at 19000 S.W. Citrus Boulevard in Indiantown. The school officially opens its doors to 9th, 10th and 11th graders when the school term begins on August 9. The Indiantown High School Open House Celebration & School Preview Party takes place on Sunday, July 30, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Attendees can get a first glimpse inside the school, enjoy food and festive music, have fun with games and inflatables, and meet Indiantown High School faculty and staff. Students interested in attending the school who are not yet enrolled can get assistance with the application. IHS is operated by Indian River State College (IRSC) in partnership with the Martin County School District. The school integrates traditional high school curriculum with workforce and college courses, producing graduates that can directly pursue career opportunities or higher education upon graduation. IHS offers students a small school environment, block-style schedules with counseling and tutoring periods, and a uniquely supportive and personalized high school experience.
